Update: A Harley Tale

Growing up, the guys from Orange County Choppers sparked a fascination with the raw, creative side of machines. From Supercross to MotoGP, I was captivated by these modern, intricate 'horses.'

As I got older, bike trends shifted, as they always do. I was drawn to the Cafe Racer and Scrambler scene—tight jeans, a soft pack of Marlboro Reds, fixed-gear riding, street art posing. Loud pipes and timeless style, ready for any road, that was my thing.

Injuries from other hobbies, the responsibilities of fatherhood, they all took their toll. Years passed without a one in my garage. I ended up selling my F-150, a workhorse in the trades, to navigate life's challenges.

Now, while I'm still searching for my next car, I stumbled upon a Harley Street Rod. Low mileage, a manageable size after years off the road. I removed the front fender, intending to replace it, but I grew to appreciate the stripped-down look. I have big plans to transform this bike, to make it ready for the roads that Colorado, and America as a whole has to offer.

Keep an eye on the blog for updates as this project unfolds.
